AMY KEMP is the Executive Director-Operations for the Oblong Children's Christian Home in Oblong, IL. Amy and her husband, Keith, co-founded Daring to Soar Ministries in 2010. Under that umbrella, Amy enjoys speaking on leadership, faith, and encouragement at women's retreats, seminars, and in small group settings. Daring to Soar was founded to encourage those in ministry and empower them, coaching excitement back into today's churches and communities. As a part of that outreach, Amy and Keith operate a teen center, known as The Landing, in Jasper County, Illinois. She and her family are musically inclined and often provide worship music for various festivals, church services, and events. Amy published her first book,It's All About the Dough, in October 2015, and has designed additional messages to address encouragement, fellowship, and hope. Speaking to women is a privilege and an honor that Amy prays for earnestly, desiring to be a blessing to every audience. Amy has Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Illinois and an MBA from California Coast University. She is a runner and a devoted mother and wife. She loves to cook and entertain, and prioritizes her family at every turn.
BECKY PAYNE received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Church and Family Life and a Master of Arts in Counseling, both from Lincoln Christian College and Seminary (now University) in Lincoln, Illinois. Becky has been involved in Christian ministry with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, families, and groups for over twenty years with an emphasis on working with trauma and addiction in the homeless population. Becky has done professional counseling for over decade and has served as an adjunct professor at both Lincoln Christian University in their Psychology Department and St Louis Christian College in their Behavioral Ministries Department for ten years. Becky is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and provides Christ-centered, professional counseling for men, women, children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. She believes that a personal relationship with the Lord is vital for finding healing in one's life. She is now serving as the Pastoral Minister/Counselor at the Red Brush Christian church in Louisville, IL. She began Grace and Truth Christian counseling out of Red Brush in 2016 and has been counseling many people in the area to help them deal with various life struggles.
CLELLA CAMP is a retired English teacher. She is a native of Edgar County, Illinois, but now is a snowbird. She and her husband of 62 years live in Paris, IL but spend 6 months in Pinellas Park, FL. Clella is the author of three books, Just Walkingby AMG Publishers, Just Around the Corner, and her latest publication, Pinch of Wisdom/Taste of Scripture.All of her books are available on Amazon. Clella and her husband have enjoyed travelling and she has many interests, but her family is her most interesting topic of discussion (particularly her four great-grandchildren). DEBBIE LEGG was born and raised in the Chicago area, discovering a love of theatre while in high school. She continued to pursue that love after moving to Washington DC, where she met her husband. They eventually moved to his hometown of Fairfield, IL, where he now farms. When she is not chasing her favorite farmer, she is chasing her two miracle sons, one in grade school and the other in college. She is a survivor of depression and infertility (hence the miracle of her sons). She began blogging in 2008, and was a contributor to the online devotional Daily Fast Fuel throughout its run. She has written, produced, directed, and acted in skits for churches and Ladies' Day at Oil Belt Christian Camp. In 2015 she published a children's book entitled What Would Christmas Be?. NIKI PACKER married her high school sweetheart in 1996, and has four children ages 16,12,10, and 8. She is a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University with a BS in Counseling/Psychology. Her husband has been the pastor atJesus Center in Sesser, IL, since 2003, and she is the Children's Ministry Leader. Through the death of her mother when she was 12, marital problems during their early years, and experience with church strife, God has revealed much of Himself to her. He has given her a passion to teach and pursue grace, love, and forgiveness; and do all she can to unify the church and bring peace to the body of Christ. Her latest outreach in ministry is her involvement in Beloved Illinois, which ministers to women in the adult entertainment industry.
